Anxiety: What is it? How does it make you feel? Is it curable?
What can we do to control it?

Anxiety can impact every single aspect of our lives. It affects how we think and feel, and it has physical symptoms. It can also be very intimidating when we don’t understand it and what triggers it.
When we feel anxious, our bodies go on high alert, looking for possible danger. Anxiety t's a feeling of fear or apprehension about what's to come. As a result, some common symptoms of anxiety are: being tense, being stressed, being worried (excessive and intrusive worrying that disrupts daily functioning), feelings of danger, panic, or dread. feelings of panic, danger or dread, nervousness, and restlessness. Other signs include fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability, tense muscles and trouble sleeping.
How do we calm down anxiety?
Anxiety is not curable, but getting the right treatment will help us dial back our out-of-control worries so that we can get on with life.
1. Get enough sleep;
2. Make a time-out;
3. Eat well-balanced meals;
4. Exercise daily to help you feel good and maintain your health;
5. Take a deep breath, count to 10 slowly and do the 3 3 3 rule for anxiety: Look around you and name three things you see. Next, name three sounds you hear. And finally, move three parts of your body. It will calm you down!
